Riveting special effects, Is it enough? Spoiler Alert: Don’t read this if you want to but yet to watch this much awaited movie. I generally don’t take effort to review movies because either I see them so late that it is reviewed to death and becomes a fact or I don’t see them at all. I saw Baahubali relatively early, which is after the ticket prize for the first weekend came down to an affordable number. I did have the excitement and anticipation that everyone who saw the part 1 had. It is definitely a movie that you have to watch it in a movie theatre, much like Jurassic part or Avatar. Beautiful background, apt beautiful actors and their paraphernalia, stylish stunt sequences and wonderful imagination, again with respect to special effects. But it definitely did not move me or carry me away. I felt bored at certain points and was thinking of something else in middle of a movie and most important of all I didn’t feel surprised for anything after ...

A letter to my friend Manoj
Hey buddy, To me.. it is not a news item to share.. I am shocked beyond saying RIP I firmly believe there should be peace in living and nothing matters after that... I knew you 20 years ago as a smart, reticent class mate.. But the last three years has been very special because I came to know you, Flaws and wounds.. Dreams and aspirations.. Someone who was more human than many.. Very deep and sensitive... Very special to me especially since I am all flaws and sensitive too I could connect with you easily It was you who compliments me after these many years , Of all the very small handful of friends I do have, No one takes a second look at my paintings like you did and found yourself in that, No one from my past friends validated me for my life which is not what I envisioned when young, No one opened up about their life with trust like you did, No one made me look up a word from a dictionary in a very long time, No one told me many things new tha...
Big Boss Season 4 :Happy to have wasted my time on this !!! :) I am seeing this season of Big Boss Tamil S4 from the very week as a very objective, observant and unbiased viewer. I understand that it is just a TV show at the end of the day, but it is also a microcosm of society and life in general, I did not even know half the people in that show since I do not follow Tamil cinema/TV industry to a level of an average Tamil person. My General Knowledge in that area is pretty abysmal. Yet, I became an Aari fan in the course of the show and did not start out as one. My aim is not to belittle others but just to celebrate this human who exhibited the qualities that is very much needed to go through life. Someone think why people are crazy of him, the contestants are not able to comprehend why people love him, and they are not even able to accept that many people love him (more than 50% of the votes were for him at the very least for a fact). If you do want to understand why this migh...

And as a new parent, I see what you say. In fact, we get stared at when we say that we don't have a tv or an ipad, or that neither our iPhones have any baby apps installed or that our son would actually sit with us and have his meal. But the truth remains that all those are possible. We both believe that introducing any non natural element invariably restrict the kid's ability to invent methods for interacting with his environment. To the extent we even refrain from getting him battery powered toys! And just watching him come up with ways to do things never ceases to amaze us.
If he picks up on his instincts, most of technology would be a natural extension of this instinct. At least we don't envision him to be a code jock like us meaning he'd probably grow up amidst self driving cars and oculus rifts and other mixed reality world, so there is really no argument introducing technology early on to any kid!
Just ny thoughts. Hope to read more of your writing.
